You can renew your regular library items up to two times, as long as no one else places a hold on them. There are multiple ways to renew your item(s).
Course reserve and other short term loan items may not be renewed.

Option 1: Renew your item online by logging in to your library account. Under the Checkouts tab, click the "Renew" button next to the item that you would like to renew.
Option 2: Renew your item online through your library account on PAWS. Under the Checkouts tab, click the "Renew" button next to the item that you would like to renew.
If you are unable to renew your item online, it may be because it has been recalled or because you have already renewed the item twice.
On the My Library Account Checkouts tab, you will be able to see whether you are eligible to renew your item or not. If the "Renew" button is greyed out, you have reached your maximum renewals. If you would like to renew an item that you have already renewed twice, please bring that item to the Library Services desk in any of our library locations and speak with a library employee.
If your item has been recalled (“Requested for Pickup”) by another user, you will not be able to renew that item, and you will need to return it to the library by the original due date or seven days from the recall date, whichever is soonest.
Option 3: Contact the library via phone, email library.services@usask.ca, or use our Ask Us chat service to request a renewal.
Option 4: Bring your items to any Library Services desk and ask for a renewal.
