If an item that you have borrowed is overdue for more than a certain amount of time, it is considered lost and you will receive a bill for replacement. A default replacement price of $150 will automatically be charged to your account.
- Regular stack items, recalled items, and interlibrary loans receive bills for replacement 14 days after they are due.
- Course reserve and short-term loan items receive bills for replacement 24 hours after they are due.
If you are able to return the item, this charge will be removed from your account. If the item is truly lost or damaged, please contact us to discuss the replacement price.

If you have
library fines of $30 or more in your library account, your borrowing privileges are automatically suspended and you will not be able to receive marks or transcripts until the fines are dealt with.
