Find a Library Database or Online Journal

Journal article databases

Searching within a specific database will limit your results by focusing on a single subject area. Most databases contain articles from many different journals at once.

If you're not sure which database to use, visit the research guide for your subject to see which databases are recommended by your librarian.

  • Library research guides by subject
To find relevant databases for your topic, go to the library's Research Guides. Select the subject that fits most closely to your topic, and navigate to its "Find Articles" page. There you will find curated lists of databases on that subject.

Already know which database you want?

You can go directly to that database through the library's A-Z list.

Searching by journal title

Already know which journal title you want?

If you know the title of the journal that you need, you can use our catalogue or our eJournals search.

  • eJournals search
Search for electronic journals by searching for words in the journal title, or by ISSN. Or, browse the electronic journals by title, category, publisher/source, or recent additions.
Note: this only searches for online journals. Print-only journals will not appear in the search results.
  • What is the eJournals search?
  • Search the catalogue
The catalogue is a searchable record of everything the library has purchased or licensed. It searches most of the library collection including books, theses, music recordings, scores, and journal titles but cannot search for journal articles.
