Step-by-step
If you already have an NSID with the University of Saskatchewan, but are unable to remember it or are unable to log on, do NOT choose to create a new account during this process - recover your username and/or password instead.
- Navigate to the Inactive Student Account Reactivation webpage.
- Enter your personal email address, mobile phone number or username (NSID):

- Enter your password if you remember it, and click "Verify my password":

If you see the following screen, your NSID and password are correct, and your account has been reactivated for 30 days. You can press the green button to log in to PAWS. No further steps are necessary.

-
If you see the following message, click the X to return to the previous screen, and then click "Recover my password":

-
If you remembered your NSID but don't know your password, click the "I forgot my password" button.

And then follow the instructions on the NSID: Recover NSID and Reset Your Password article under the "Reset NSID password" section.
-
Once you've gone through the password reset process, you should be taken to the PAWS login page. Your account has been reactivated for 3 months, and you can log in to PAWS. No further steps are necessary.
-
If you can't remember your NSID, click the "I forgot my username" button:

And then follow the instructions on the NSID: Recover NSID and Reset Your Password article under the "Recover NSID Username" section.
-
Return to step 1 and try the verification process now that you have your NSID. If you've forgotten your password, you will also need to do a password reset.
-
Once you've gone through the NSID recovery process and verified (or reset) your password, your account will be reactivated for 30 days, and you can log in to PAWS. No further steps are necessary.
If you encounter any problems while following these steps, or require help with the process, please contact ICT by using the green "Request Assistance with Password Recovery" button on the right side of the
