Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)

Service Overview

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) strengthens access security by requiring multiple methods (also sometimes referred to as 'factors'), to verify your identity. These factors can include something you know, like a user name and password, plus something you have, like a smartphone app to approve authentication requests.

Example: You have used a type of MFA before, such as when withdrawing money from an ATM. You need both your bank card and a PIN to complete the transaction.

This service provides access to advice, help, and support on setting up and configuring multi-factor authentication for your USask account.
