Service Overview
Interlibrary loan connects USask library users with materials from other libraries when we do not have what you need in our collection.
- Scan request sends digital copies of print materials from our collection directly to your USask inbox.
- Create and track your ILL and scan requests in the USask Resource Sharing portal.

Alumni and external library users: Once you have activated your USask library account, submit Interlibrary Loan or scan requests via email to
illquery@usask.ca. Provide as much information as you can about the requested item.
Current USask students, staff, faculty: Click the green "Request ILL or Scan" button to submit your service request. On mobile devices, you may need to scroll down to locate the button.

Core Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday

Service Charges
Current USask students, staff, and faculty: ILL and scan requests are free of charge.
Alumni and external library users: ILL is available at a cost of $15 CDN per item (physical and digital files). Some items may cost more to borrow depending on the rate set by the lending library. We will confirm the cost with you before proceeding with your request. Scan requests of items in our collection are free.
Scan requests of items in our collection are free to all library users with a library account.
