Proposal Development
Academic units proposing new programs must complete a Program and Curricular Change form and provide other required documentation, including, as applicable:
- Financial implications form (including consultation with the Strategic Finance Office)
- College statement of support
- Letters of support
- Syllabi and course creation forms for new courses
- USask consultation forms (library, ICT, Physical Resource)
- Catalogue entry

CGPS Consultation
Academic units are encouraged to reach out to CGPS during any stage of the proposal development. Prior to official submission, CGPS can:
- Provide and consult on required forms
- Review the program proposal for alignment with CGPS policy and processes
- Connect proponents with institutional stakeholders (e.g., Strategic Finance Office, Registrar's Office, etc.)
