These instructions are for the microform scanners attached to the computers on the first floor of the Murray Library. Using the readers on the second floor of the Murray Library is similar, but you will need to control the film manually. The linked guide and the video below show how to thread the film into the machines.
- Open the PowerScan program
- Choose the type of micro you wish to scan
- Pull the tray all the way towards you, which will lift the glass plate
- A guide will pop up on the screen to show how to load the microfilm
