Summary

If you are a sponsored student during the fall and winter terms and are granted an award, you can receive the award money by requesting a refund once there is credit on your account.

If all or part of your tuition and student fees are paid by a sponsor, such as an Indigenous community, employer or government agency, sponsorship is entered into student accounts at the beginning of each term.

  • All money from awards are applied first to any balance owing to the University of Saskatchewan.
  • If there is any money left over after applying the award to the balance owing, you can have your award refunded to you through direct deposit.
  • If you have a sponsoring agency covering your tuition and fees, monitor your account for the sponsorship being processed.
  • When you have a credit balance on your account, you will be eligible to request a refund.
