CGPS Awards Hub: Reference Status Overview

When applying for awards in the CGPS Awards HUB, some applications require reference letters. After applicants submit their references’ contact information, an automated email is sent to each reference with a link to the reference portal. This article provides information for graduate students checking in on there references' status within the CGPS Awards HUB. 

Reference Statuses:

Reference status reflects the provider's progress.

  • Requested: The reference request has been sent, but the reference provider has not yet started or submitted the reference.

  • Drafted: The reference provider has started completing the questionnaire but has not yet submitted it.

  • Submitted: The reference provider has completed and submitted the reference.

References must be submitted by the application deadline for the application to be considered complete.
