The College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (CGPS) has launched a new scholarship and awards management system powered by Blackbaud called the CGPS Awards HUB. The platform modernizes every step of graduate centrally funded scholarship and awards process, making it easier for students to find and apply for funding and more efficient for administrators to manage and track awards.
With streamlined workflows, smart automation, and a user-friendly design, the system reduces paperwork, centralizes key tasks, and enhances capacity to support USask's graduate students. It also promotes transparency, equity, and donor engagement to ensure more students can access available funding opportunities.
Use the steps below to get started and set up your general application.
1) Sign-in by clicking the link and using your NSID and password: https://usask.academicworks.ca
2) Complete your ‘User Profile’ by completing a general application. After logging in, most applicants will arrive at and fill out your General Application. Applicants do not have to complete the General Application immediately, but they should do so before submitting applications to other awards.
3) Imported Data Navigate to “Applicant Record” at the bottom left of application. Upload all relevant information (e.g. CV).
4) Recommended Opportunities (if applicable)
Click “Apply” on the Recommended Opportunities to start applying if applicable. Based on your general application answers, they system will auto-select the most relevant recommended funding opportunities:
- To learn more about the opportunity, select its name
- To apply for the opportunity (and most likely fill out a few questions), select Apply
5) You can update your profile as often as you want, and check which opportunities have been recommended for you.
