Only six-credits taken as a non-degree student can be used towards the program. The department must approve these classes towards the program. The department must submit the request to College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (CGPS) once the student is accepted into a program to use those classes towards the program of study.
Note: The start date of a program will align with the start date of the term the approved class will be taken as a non-degree student towards the graduate program. Master's students have four years to complete a program and PhD students have six-years to complete a program.
